From our bike hire base in Leitrim Village you can hire a regular bike or an electric bike to explore the Leitrim countryside. 

20 Km traffic free cycling on the Shannon Blueway between Leitrim Village and Drumshanbo Village with an additional 11 km cycle on the traffic free Shannon Erne Blueway from Leitrim Village to Kilclare

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:  COVID-19 PROTOCOL

We have made changes to our booking system in order to provide for social distancing and for your safety and the safety of our staff. All bike hire bookings must be completed online where at all possible to insure availability.  We have set out booking times to choose from and may need to contact you by e-mail the day before booking date to change the time of your booking by 10 to 20 mins in order to allow for social distancing at collection point. 

If you  or any of your household are feeling ill or have any of the signs or symptoms of Covid 19 or awaiting a Covid 19 test please stay home. If, in the past 14 days, you have been in contact with a person who is a confirmed or suspected case of Covid 19 please stay home also. 

Specific Covid -19 Measures:

• One person only for check in.  We ask that the rest of the group remain outside the premises or avail of the limited seating in the reception area.
• Face covering to be worn by all adults and children over 12 years of age during check in and while getting fitted out with bikes which will take place outside the premises.
• Please follow social distancing signs within the bike hire premises.
• Hand sanitiser will be provided and or hand washing facilities so customers are requested to avail of either on entering and leaving the premises.
• Toilet facilities are provided for customers with hand sanatiser station outside the toilet door.
• Bikes and equipment hired will be sanitised in accordance with HSE guidelines between hire.
• Where possible bring your own helmet. However, we will provide sanitised helmets as part of bike hire as requested.
• A mobile number of one member of your party will be required for contact tracing purposes.
• Please ensure ALL participants in your group are aware of our policies and guidelines by forwarding this email to them, or referring them to our website

General Information

• We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals of participants for bikes and it is advisable to ring ahead if you have an unexpected delay in arrival. However, we cannot offer refund.
• Bikes are hired by the day and can be collected between 10 am and 12.30 p.m. for return before 6 p.m. on the day.
• Electric Bike Trails opens in the rain!  So please check the weather in advance to avail of our 48 hour cancellation policy or 12-hour reschedule policy (subject to availability).
• All participants under 18 must have waiver signed by adult 18+.
• We need approx height of each person requiring a bike in order to reserve the most suitable sized bikes whick makes the cycle experience more enjoyable.
• Clothing:   No flip-flop sandals or high heels please for your own safety.
